The 21 Finalists of SCAT to STEM CAMP Selection Process:

The highest SCAT scorer gets the priority selection. 

The Fourteen Finalists of U.S. Embassy’s and KMITL Scholarship:

1. Thai nationality
2. Ages 14-18 years old
3. Boy 7 Girl 7

The Seven Finalists of Est Cola’s Scholarship:

1. Ages 12-30 years old
2. No gender requirement
3. Any nationalities

SCHOLARSHIP

INTRODUCTION

The U.S. Space Camp’s Scholarship Program or the Discover Thailand’s Astronauts Scholarship Program is initiated by Krit Kunplin, USSRC’s Representative in Thailand and South East Asia and is supported by the U.S. Government under the supervision of the U.S. Embassy. Other private and public organizations i.e. Est Cola Scholarship are also involved.

 

In 2016, the Scholarship opens only for the Thai citizens and supports by U.S. Government for 2 scholarships and Est Cola for 1 scholarship.

 

In 2017, the U.S. Embassy supports 2 space exploration scholarships for one girl and one boy of Thai nationality within the ages between 14-18 years old. The winners of the American government’s scholarship will be automatically eligible for a full scholarship to study for an entire bachelor degree of any major at the King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang.

Est Cola also supports one space exploration scholarship for person of any nationalities within the ages of 12-30 years old.

Est Cola’s Scholarship

  1. Any nationalities

  2. Ages between 12-30 years old.

  1. SCAT [Space Camp Aptitude Test]

  2. STEM Camp [STEM competition and science quiz for 3 days and 2 nights at the KMITL's Engineering department]

  1. US government's SpaceEx Scholarship to train on space exploration program at the US Space and Rocket Center located near to US Army's Red Stone Arsenal Military Base in Huntsville, Alabama for 6 days

  2. Full bachelor degree scholarship of any majors at the KMITL [only the winners of the US government's grants]

  3. Special recommendation by President of the KMITL to study at MIT [only the winners of the US government's grants]

  1. Tuition fees at the US Space and Rocket Center

  2. Lodging in the US. 

  3. Round trip tickets between Bangkok and Huntsville, Alabama, USA. 

  4. Transportation in the US

  5. Meals in the US

  6. US visa fee

7.  Travel insurance 

8.  NASA Flight suit

9.  Chaperon

10. Only winners of the US government's grants: A full scholarship to study for an entire bachelor degree of any majors at the KMITL and special recommendation from President of the KMITL to study further at MIT, USA.
